What is botox?

Botox is an FDA-approved injectable that temporarily relaxes facial muscles to soften fine lines and wrinkles. It’s most commonly used for forehead lines, frown lines (“11s”), and crow’s feet.

How long does botox last?

Results typically last 3–4 months. With regular treatments, many patients find their results last longer.

Does botox hurt?

Most patients say Botox feels like a quick pinch. The procedure is very tolerable and takes only a few minutes. No numbing is required, but we do recommend icing the areas to be injected. This helps to reduce pain, bruising, and bleeding. We will provide you with an icepack.

When will I see the results?

You may start noticing smoother skin in 3–5 days, with full results in about 2 weeks.

Is there downtime after botox injections?

There’s no downtime—you can return to your routine right away. You may have slight redness, swelling, or small bumps at the injection site, which typically fade within hours.

Is botox safe?

Yes, when performed by a licensed medical professional. Side effects are generally minimal and temporary.

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are injectable hyaluronic acid gels that restore lost volume, enhance facial contours, and smooth wrinkles. Common treatment areas include the lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, under-eyes, and smile lines.

How long do fillers last?

Depending on the product and area treated, results can last 6 months to 2 years.

Do filler injections hurt?

Most fillers contain lidocaine (a numbing medication), and we also use topical numbing if needed. Patients usually describe the feeling as a slight pinch or pressure.

When will I see results?

Results are immediate! You’ll see improvement right away, with final results settling in after swelling resolves in 1–2 weeks.

Is there downtime after fillers?

Most people return to their usual routine right away. Mild swelling or bruising is normal and typically improves in a few days.

Are fillers safe?

Yes, when performed by an experienced injector. Complications are rare, but we review all risks and safety steps during your consultation.
