I saw Dr. Patel after having foolishly jammed part of a silicon ear plug down my ear canal. I made the grave mistake of going to an urgent care clinic first and the doctor there unwittingly made the situation worse, using tools to try to get the sticky silicon out of my ear canal but only jamming it in further and coming close to damaging my eardrum. Thank God Dr. Patel assessed the situation and figured out what to do. He put hydrogen peroxide in my ear and then suctioned out the remaining silicon pieces that were almost touching the membrane of my eardrum. He then checked and made sure that my eardrum was not perforated. He did a fabulous job and I am so appreciative.
